I am interested in verbal interaction and the linguistic expressions of thought disorders or psychiatric symptoms. My current research focuses on human interaction in therapeutic settings. I aim to understand listening through reflections, and to suggest measures for synchrony and treatment responsiveness. In my work I use NLP tools, specifically, large language models. I believe these tools, among other advancements in the field, could shed new light on thought disorders, and verbal communication in a way that promotes caregiving practices and overall mental health.
